Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Investment Solutions Coordinator for the US, the analyst will provide support to the senior management of Investment Solutions business lines on a wide range of subjects including, but not limited to the:
  • Identification and evaluation of external growth opportunities, and execution of the contemplated investment/divestment transactions
  • Identification and evaluation of internal growth and business development opportunities, and implementation of the initiatives
  • Development & monitoring of cross-selling and business synergy initiatives between the Investment Solutions businesses, as well as between Investment Solutions, CIB US and US Retail Banking
  • Advise and research on specific subjects, such as: on a given industry in the US; on competitors and the competitive environment in the US; on the US regulatory landscape in the financial services industry;…
  • Coordination of the oversight/management of compliance and risk management issues (organization of the IS US Internal Control Committee; monitoring the management of litigations and internal audit recommendations, in close interaction with the relevant support functions, Regional Management Oversight Committees, …)
  • Coordination of the governance & management oversight framework for Investment Solutions businesses in the US ( reporting to US Regulators, …)


Desired Skills & Experience
  • Education: BA Business Management, Business Administration, International Business
  • Familiarity with the general regulatory framework governing the financial services industry
  • 1-2 years of work experience (including internships) in the financial sector (Corporate Development, M&A, Corporate Strategy, Asset Management…) and/or in an international consulting firm
  • Comfortable communicating with senior staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
