Communications Officer - Kent - up to £28,000

A leading NHS trust in Kent, at the forefront off all developments within the NHS seek an experienced Communications Officer to join their team.

The Communications Officer is required to work with the head of communications to coordinate and develop the Trust's communications function to protect and enhance the Trust's reputation as a first class employer, partner and healthcare provider.

The key responsibilities of the Communications officer will be supporting delivery of the Trust's communications activities including the day to day running of an effective press office, taking a pro-active approach to secure positive and regular press coverage, dealing with media enquires and building good working relationships with local, national and trade media.

To effectively publicise positive news across a range of internal, external, online and offline communications mechanisms for the Trust's broad range of audiences, taking a coordinated approach.
