My client requires a Senior QS and an M&E QS for the construction of a medical research building in the south east.The project is due to kick off the 10th April but procurement etc needs to happen immediately.
The ideal candidate will have covered a similar project from cradle to grave. This is a 70 week contract so they are looking for someone that can commit to a project. With it being a long term contract someone within commuting distance of Kent may suit this role.
Description of the Works - design and Build of an RC framed 2 storey building with third floor steel framed plantroom. Extensive brick and curtain walling façade. Full internal fit out of offices and labs. Large building services/HVAC element to support a Class 2 Lab. Lab furniture including fume cupboards, autoclaves etc. 3,500m2 floor area.
The form of contract used will be GC/works/1(1998), the selected candidate will have good experience or an understanding of that suite.
The rate on offer will be dependant on experience.
