Matlab, DOORs, simulink, architecture, FCC, LRU, electronics, real-time embeddedYeovil - 3 months (initial) - Systems integration - £40per hour
We have an immediate requirement for a leading aerospace company that design and manufacture World leading aircraft for a variety of industries. The contract is for 3 months initial however there is potential to extend for 12 months +.
The role requires a full understanding of how a complex system works and the capability to flow down system requirements into a complete and consistent set of system integration procedures. The system integration engineer will be accountable for the definition, management and execution of the system integration tests throughout the system life cycle, from early definition, to development, to verification testing and validation in flight. He will also be responsible for the generation, analysis, and resolution of Problem Reports and participate in the Review Boards.
Essential skills:
- MATLAB and MALAB SIMULINK
- DOORs
- Helicopter dynamics and control.
Desirable skills:
- FCS System Architecture
- Flight Control Computer
- Experience in LRU/Component level design (e.g. actuators, FCC), digital electronics and/or real-time embedded software
