Senior SharePoint developer French and English 6 months + extension - Brussels
A company based in Brussels is currently looking for a Senior SharePoint developer who speaks French and English.
Daily duties:
- You are a member of the font-end team within the Transversal Domain and are accountable for providing technical direction to others and capable of reviewing technical projects to ensure a high level of quality.
- The Senior SharePoint Developer will use as much as possible industry best practices while serving as a role model and mentor in a team of high-performing professionals.
- Members of the CoE FE are also responsible to support other teams as necessary. They also continually contribute to process improvement activities.
- Coordinating the activities of junior developers; lead the design and architecture of software products; lead coding.
- Demonstrated ability to design software that meets cost, performance and maintenance objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to address issues of fault-tolerance, load balancing, performance, scalability, stability.
- You apply standard software architecture and engineering principles.
- You evaluate, introduce and implement new technologies and industry standards/best practices
- You must be able to adapt to changing priorities in a timely and efficient manner.
- You must develop effective relationships with internal and external contacts and work well within a team.
Skills:
- Excellent written, verbal and graphical communication skills
- Significant experience (5+ years) as a Senior SharePoint Developer
- Significant Experience (5+ years) communicating design using UML, Sequence, State and Class Diagram.
- Significant Experience (5+ years) with SHAREPOINT and .NET Architecture, engineering principles and design patterns.
- Experience working in large IT delivery projects as well as collaborating with multiple teams in an international context (including offshore partners).
- Experience with technical reviews activities on large scale projects
- Experience with automated unit testing, test-driven development and continuous integration (TFS).
- Experience with SOA ecosystem (WCF).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban and other methodologies is an asset
- Strong time management skills, ability to work well under pressure and meet established timelines
- SHAREPOINT 5+ ( Publishing, Features framework, WebParts and Web Controls, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer and Workflow ), Client technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery), XML, XSD, XSLT, WCF SOAP, WCF REST, SSRS, SSIS
- Experience with Oracle DB, SQL Server DB
- You speak French and English
