Program Test Manager
My client, a leading global insurance company requires a Prgram Test Manager with experience of leading large complex projects for a contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
Documents all problems and assists in their resolution.
Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
Performs quality audits across the test iterations on active projects within the program to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
Minimum Experience:
Experience of core International data domains within Insurance/Financial Services
Five years insurance/financial services operations, customer, data and or technology experience
Five years lead test manager with responsibilities in complex integrated systems environment
Five years Software Testing domain with strong understanding of the tools, techniques and process involved and proven Test Manager track record
Five years experience with hands on HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL and related web technologies.
Five years test performance measurement, analysis and metrics related experience
Five years experience in change management/implementation and planning
Extensive Experience of HP Quality Centre
Good working knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing including entity relationship
Experience with General Insurance data domains, data standards, and or data aggregation experience including exposure to principles of data management, master data management, data quality and associated tools highly desired
ISEB Foundation in Software Testing or similar relevant accreditation.
