Service Desk Analyst Help Desk 1st Line Support

A prestigious and well respected client in Birmingham is looking for a Service Desk/Helpdesk/1st Line Support analyst to join a busy and successful team. The Service Desk team supports over 5000 users in the business so there is never a dull moment in this organisation with many differing and varied challenges arising each and every day.

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties: To provide 1st Line Telephone support for a number of bespoke applications and internal products. Be required to provide Helpdesk support for document production issues Diagnosing and solving a range of basic hardware issues affecting end-user devices such as PCs, mobile devices, peripherals, printers and scanners. To ensure all incidents and requests are effectively logged, prioritised, assigned, updated and resolved within SLA. To keep up to date with new technology and business requirements. To escalate repeat-incidents or trends for appropriate Problem Management. The position will suit someone who is focused on customer service and has a passion for IT.
