Rapid Application Developer - Commodities, C#, VBA, ORACLE

Global Investment Trading Firm is seeking exceptional Front Office C#, Excel VBA and Oracle developer to work on Front Office applications. The role combines a number of different areas including the development and support of a custom built front office application and using a variety of technologies, languages and tools.

This role will give you exposure to the full project lifecycle, where you will be required to understand the business requirements, support the business needs and act as a focal point within the development team.

My client has a market capitalisation of €66 billion and has a near €100bn turnover. It is not only a leading international upstream Company but also one of Europe's largest commodity companies. As part of the RAD development team you will part of the processing of market data feeds which includes pricing and fundament data as well as development of bespoke Excel and .Net tools for the business. Oracle database knowledge is a key component to the role, as the team develops, Visual basic and C# APIs for the database.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience working within the commodities sector.

Key Skill Requirements;
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • C#
  • Front Office experience
  • RAD Development
  • FX product knowledge would be ideal
  • Strong Communication Background
  • Commodities Exposure
