Description
My client, a leading global Managed Services Provider are looking for multiple IT Support Specialists for 12 month contracts. The IT Support Specialist will be in charge of resolving and supporting IT systems (PC, laptops, printers, phones, etc ) including undertaking operating Windows XP/7 systems and carry out assigned project work.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Support IT systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve PC, printers and laptops issues.
- Provide desktop support services and maintenance on applications.
- Maintain all updates to PCs and Servers (Service packs, virus updates, etc.)
- Exercises common sense and good judgement.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of experience as an IT support specialist
- Experience with Windows XP/7/8, Networking, MDT and TEM, Office.
- Familiar with Mobile Iron, IOS, Blackberry.
- Certifications are a plus (MCP, CCNA, etc.).
- Hands on experience of PABX, Phone systems, Cabling.
- Knowledge of MS SharePoint, SQL Server and Windows 2008.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
