Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform well planning, engineering design and execution.

2. Prepare drilling AFE estimates.

3. Prepare detailed drilling programs, including directional well planning and anti-collision.

4. Support Drilling Superintendent and site consultants on a daily basis.

5. Coordinate with other asset team members to drive the well readiness and drill schedule process.

6. Lead the cost management process, including managing RFPs for drilling services.

7. Continuously work on improving cost and cycle time efficiency through technical research and offset data analysis.

8. Aid in implementing company's EHS policies and targets.

Education and Qualifications

1. B.S. degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or related engineering field.

2. 8+ years of drilling engineering experience with an operator or a service company.

3. Strong background in directional and air drilling experience is preferred.

4. Proven track record in adapting to new environments.

5. Ability to work independently and innovate.

6. Good communication skills.

Requirements and Skills

1. Proficient with COMPASS, WellPlan or similar software.

2. Well Control certified

3. Well familiar with air and OBM drilling
