Role:
- Describe and tailor the configuration management process for the project
- Identify the Configuration Items (CIs) of the product and classify them as performance relevant and not performance relevant
- Maintain an updated list of all existing (planned and initially unplanned) configuration baselines including their status
- Maintain an updated list of all actual configurations (= configuration of physical instruments) including their current status and their history
- Keep track of changes in configuration and communicate them to other departments & functions (e.g. CoE, hardware, software) if they may have an influence in more than one functional area
- Cooperate with Configuration Managers in the corresponding Business Area and R&D functions
- Plan and execute the project tasks dedicated to the role Configuration Manager within the project
- Lead and coordinate rollout of changes to configurations in use
- Input for improvement areas for the configuration process
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in Configuration Management
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline, advanced degree preferred e.g. mechatronic, medical- or bio-technology, technical informatics or related field
- Idly CM II professional
Languages:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- German language skills are a aplus
