Based in the South-East, our client a leading Automotive Technology company, is currently searching for an immediate Contract Electronics Design Engineer on an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of motor control boards which consist of SIC (silicon carbide) devices, FPGAs, power supplies, voltage minimising and EMC practice.

Key requirements:
Power electronic design for motor control, SiC devices highly desirable.
Ability to mix power electronic design with digital control elements.
Ability to take electronic designs from specification through to unit testing and initial application.
Experience in power switching design efficiency
Familiar with voltage overshoot and ensure stable and controlled switching.
Experience with High Voltage systems
Experience with DC-DC converter designs.
