WANTED: Full-Strack Developer wanted for Start-Up Company

Gridium is fixing energy management and we need your help!

Gridium provides energy data analytics to large buildings. We manage over 120 million square feet of commercial real estate - and that number is growing fast. Our customers use our products to optimize their building operations, ultimately saving significant amounts of energy.

This is a hard problem. We take in huge amounts of data every day, and then apply complex machine learning and statistical algorithms to zero in on the energy efficiency opportunities our customers care about. We’re sitting on huge amounts of data, and we need to put that data to work, and that is where you come in.

This is a hands-on role: You would be only the fifth member of our development team. This means you'll be tackling big challenges, working directly with product management and the rest of the team to design and create new products. This means lots of front-end work creating features and visualizations to bring our data to life.

This is a full-stack role. While the emphasis is on the front-end, we’re looking for someone who is competent in dynamic languages as well (Python, Ruby, etc…). This is a job for someone who loves to solve hard problems using a variety of technologies.

Skills & Requirements

Excellent front-end skills (Javascript, CSS, some kind of modern framework, etc…)

Dynamic language experience (Python, Ruby, Perl, etc…)

Although you will spend most of your time implementing front-end features, the ideal candidate will feel comfortable jumping in anywhere in the stack when needed.

Familiarity with some form of Test Driven Development.

Ability to work in a distributed team. Our “work from anywhere” policy affords you incredible flexibility. We want people who just get things done.
