VP, Risk Technology, Project Manager - Boston, MA

A global financial institution located in Boston is looking for a skilled project management professional to join their Enterprise Risk Technology team. A winning candidate has experience with insitutional risk, vendor management, and project budgeting, with knowledge of Basel 3 highly preferred.
  • Identifies all relevant Risk for detailed plans around Regulatory related projects with the program to help define ERM long term program strategy within FED timeframes.
  • Plans, organizes, controls and manages the activities of the regulatory project teams reporting into the Program Office. Partners with colleagues and Risk Information Technology to promote proper communication of business requirements, project deliverables and implementation approach to ensure smooth implementation workstreams for regulatory program initiatives.
  • Sets and manages overall project budgets for regulatory related initiatives.
  • Engages business leads and peers, interfaces with senior leaders across the organization; ensures service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with both internal and external clients and business partners (i.e., third party consulting, Credit Operations/Reporting, Treasury, Finance and IT).
  • Oversees management of vendor relationships, identifying key vendor partners, negotiating arrangements with them and holding them accountable for deliverables.
  • Communicates recommendations to management/senior ERM business leaders through effective written and oral communication.
