OptimizePlayer is a web application for video marketing professionals passionately created by a very small team located around the world. We are looking for a designer that is interested in working on a different and exciting project that has current beta users to draw design metrics behind.
Who we are:
- A small part time team of three
- Forward thinking - our product is truly unique and visionary. We have a lot of eyeballs waiting to expereince what we have created with video for marketers.
- Doers - how many startup products have you designed that never made it anywhere? Most of our product is already developed out so you get to dive into actual use cases.
- Doesn’t mind iterating - “yes we know this design is the latest trend or Apple is doing it or there is an article about best practices, but it doesn’t quite fit our product or user” Let’s iterate effectively and create something beautiful but functional.
- is quick - we are a very agile team that likes to move quickly. We like when someone can get their pixels on paper, in wireframe format or a rough draft.
- ask questions - we would like to learn your working style. Do you like full out specifications for what you are designing or would a screenshot example of what we are thinking suffice?
- keeps things simple while solving the same complex issue - think apple remote
- is practical and funtional in their design process. It might be a great portfolio piece but did it make sense for the user experience?
- pixel perfect attention to details - no detail is too small or big
- is available for the next month or two for at least 15 to 25 hours a week. Looking for someone that can hit the ground running.
- redesigning areas of the current app or a complete redesign
- developing design concepts for new features
- designing the marketing website
- designing marketing creatives
- concepting and design our mobile app
Potential for future work is definitely possible.
