ABOUT THE PROJECT
GTN Technical Staffing has an urgent need for a strong IT Procurement Manager opportunity in Plano, TX. Our client is feeling a deep sense of urgency and will begin conducting technical phone screens ASAP.
JOB SUMMARY
Asset Management: 40%
Implementation, negotiation and monitoring of asset programs.
Work to increase revenue and asset values through identified efficiencies and savings.
Prepare reports and perform analysis for research to proactively identify potential revenue losses.
Review and update current policies.
Implementing training and development programs may also be required.
Monitor asset service pools and recommend action to maintain appropriate levels.
Assist in ordering equipment as needed.
Approve equipment orders through the eProcurement system.
Work with business teams to recover assets from the field.
Review monthly invoices for accuracy
Manage accounting reports for internal billing of support/tech charges.
Mobility Support Management: 35%
Work as the liaison between and preferred support partners/vendors.
Manage the overall day to day Mobility support operations.
Monitor SLA levels.
Root cause analysis to maintain support efficiencies and manage costs.
Assist in RFP, Support contract negotiations.
Review monthly support invoices for accuracy.
Manage Mobility support reporting.
Work with business teams on mobility offerings.
Recommend options that match business needs.
Maintain knowledge of current and future mobile technology.
Develop strategies for future mobility needs.
Manage new project deployments.
IT Support Management: 25%
Manage and maintain Service-Now ticketing system
Assist in implementing new teams into the ticketing system
Work with the business and support teams to design workflows to automate manual processes.
Work with all IT teams to develop strategies for future IT support needs.
