Core Responsibilities-Develope and perform substantial firmware trouble-shooting
-Provide sustained support to customer programs that integrate with Broadcom's BT and/or NFC chips
-Identify, analyze and solve technical problems with minimal support.
-Develop processes and procedures for testing software and work with the continuous improvement of systems.
-Design, develop and maintain tools and maintain proficiency in software languages used by the team.
-Operate electronic devices for the testing of new software.
-Prepare, review, submit, and maintain project/product documentation.
-Mentor a team of engineers about the preparation, documentation and execution of the specific software testing project.
Necessary Experience
-A Bachelors of Science degree with nine plus years of professional experience.
-Extensive experience programming with embedded C and assembly.
-proficient with debugging and experience with emulators, debug-monitors and O-scopes
-Thorough knowledge of Bluetooth is strongly desired-Strong knowledge of WLAN or similar wireless technology can be considered. Experience at the "MAC" level required.
-firm understanding of RTOS concepts.
- Experience with SoC environment, ARM assembly, architecture, tools.
-Understanding of Pearl or similar scripting language is preferred but not required.
-Experience testing wireless communication devices.
