High profile Australian Federal Government agency are seeing a Senior Test Engineer to commence 1 July 2014.
Skills include:
- Unit testing.
- Functional testing.
- Performance testing.
- Useability testing.
- Integration testing.
- Acceptance testing.
- Regression testing.
- Bug fixing (if appropriate).
Duties:
Test planning, testing and quality assurance. Define test parameters against specifications. Prepare test plans and strategies. Prepare test cases. Adherence to Work Health and Safety regulations (the WHS Act 2011), including relevant training to the WHS Act 2011. Conduct verification and validation testing including, as per bullet points above. Produce appropriate test documentation. Preparation of reports and documentation. Delivery of briefings and presentations as directed. Conduct necessary liaison with clients, service providers and project managers. Quality assurance exercises and reporting Actively communicate and seek to raise the engineering capability maturity of teams with respect to processes for testing. Participate in a multi-discipline team environment. As a senior team member, actively support and maintain positive team dynamics. This includes knowledge transfer. Duties as directed. This position is ONLY open to Australian citizens due to the nature of the work. Preference will be given to candidates with a current NV1 level security clearance.
