Duration: 10 months (Contract)

Job Description:

The EHS support person will be responsible for administrative duties for the EHS department including:
Manage safety shoe program
Manage training and MSE follow up
Manage data transfer for supervisor scorecard
Manage concern reporting trends and follow up with owners
File and maintain environmental recordkeeping
Manage EHS 19's
Develop and manage checklist 
Enter employee concern reports- daily
Coordinate meeting and training schedules
Log training in Training Tracker
Log water meter readings
Log waste manifests
Research personal protective equipment and contact suppliers
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Skilled in data entry
Ability to manipulate data in Microsoft Excel using basic commands and functions (data entry, sorting, vlookup, basic math commands)
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of employees verbally and in writing.
Capable of using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Able to slightly adjust work schedule as needed to accomodate 2nd or 3rd shift

Desired characteristics:
Previous administrative experience
EHS background
Has or is pursuing an associates degree or higher.
