Infrastructure Project Manager needed in Chicago, IL
We are looking for a contractor that has extensive infrastructure Project Manager experience.
Selected Project Manager will plan and manage the delivery of information technology solutions and associated technical services in support of the business objectives and ongoing operations. Will be responsible for managing technology and consulting vendor/partner relationships, as well as supervising IT staff.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for promoting collaboration across teams, departments and business units overall and with specific projects. Inside and outside the organization, you will establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with strategic partners as well as technology vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 7-8 years project management experience focusing on the delivery of IT solutions in a complex environment.
- Must have experience managing infrastructure projects
- Bachelors Degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar discipline.
- Significant experience managing project work plans
- Proven ability in building relationships with broad range of constituencies
- Strong infrastructure technical background
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of the business domains of the users involved
- Demonstrated ability to direct large teams to successful implementation
- Demonstrated organizational skill
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to instill quality in every aspect of the job function
- Experience with Hyperion and/or Oracle Business Intelligence applications is a plus
