An award winning pharmaceutical company is currently recruiting for a Master Planner to join their company in Co. Waterford. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-looking, global pharmaceutical company with a great reputation.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for planning the plants capacity for supply of customer orders in line with agreed service levels. The role will also have responsibility for Distribution to/from site, and the management of inventory and related projects.

This role has 5 aspects:
1. Customer Service:
- Plan customer order delivery
- Lead Demand Management and customer order fulfilment.
- Implement SOP processes with customers
- Agree and report Supply Chain KPIs

2. Planning:
- Be responsible for the monthly Manufacturing and Packaging schedules to supply orders to customer specification.
- Plan site capacity to meet customer demand over a 12 month rolling period through Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) modeling.
- Incorporate the Annual Operating Plan demand into the site AOP using RCCP tools.
- Plan business Long Range Planning (LRP) scenarios
- Agree and schedule Global Respiratory R&D and Capacity projects as required into the Manufacturing and Packaging schedules.
- Manage, monitor and report an optimal level of inventory to meet site KPI's and production needs.
- Lead inventory and warehouse related projects.
- Plan and schedule inbound materials supply

3. Distribution:
- Plan and schedule Finished Goods distribution in line with customer order ship dates.
- Ensure distribution adheres to GDP and compliant distribution practice including validated and temperature controlled shipment routes.

4. People Management:
- Plan and implement target setting, performance measurement, personal development and succession planning for all direct reports to meet agreed objectives within GTOP.

5. Cost Management:
- Agree and monitor the Planning Cost Centre in order to meet budgeted targets.

Required Skills:
- Experience of MRP/ MPS systems, preferably using SAP.
- In depth experience of SAP or other integrated ERP package.
- Project Leadership experience.

Minimum Requirements:
- Third level business qualification; with APICs Membership desirable.
- 3-5 years' experience in similar role in high volume manufacturing environment.
