Oracle DBA - Finance Sector - RAC RMAN Dataguard ASM - 35 hours per week - 5 months - South YorkshireReal Staffing are looking for an experience Oracle DBA to join a team of Oracle Database Administrators who are responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance the company infrastructure.
The primary responsibilities of the Oracle Database Administrator include:
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle Database versions 10g and 11g on Solaris and Linux Platforms
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Oracle RAC, Dataguard, ASM & RMAN
- Build development environments and provide support during application development
- Build production systems and provide support through to go live
- Provide documentation for production support
- Manage small projects and deliver to deadlines
- Be able to hold technical discussions with colleagues around the organisation and provide managerial updates.
This is a great opportunity to work for one of the UK's largest financial clients. This Oracle DBA contract will be 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday and is for 5 months starting on the 1st of May 2014 following a successful face to face interview with the financial client.
