Location: South BirminghamJob Role: Embedded Software Design
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + Benefits
Embedded software engineer required to work at a leading automotive company based in South Birmingham. You will be reporting directly to the software team lead and ideally have at least 2 or 3 of the key skills listed below.
- A degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering discipline is essential.
- 5 years' solid experience developing high quality Embedded C, or Embedded C++, with ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Automotive protocol experience such as CAN
- Understanding of 'low-level' software for embedded applications, ideally for 16/32-bit microcontrollers
Desirables include:-
- Knowledge and or practice of automotive SPICE
- Familiarity with Fujitsu Microcontrollers
- Display technologies including LCD, LED, TFT and stepper motor drivers
