Description
My client, an NHS Community Services Trust are looking for an experienced Specialist Children's Safeguarding Nurse for a period of 3 months. The role is based in the Home Counties, North of London.To be successful in this role you must possess the following skills / experience
-Safeguarding Children Supervision
-Auditing
-Child death review process
-Understanding of the safeguarding child protection framework and legislation
-Experience working for local authority or in social care
-Ideally you will have experience of MARAC and a detailed knowledge of child abuse.
You must be emotionally intelligent and be able to show sensitivity as well as resilience due to the nature of the role.
You will be based in the site office predominantly but may be required to do some local travelling for meetings.
