Senior Project Manager/3 months/The Hague, Netherlands
For one of my clients I'm urgently looking for a Senior Project Manager to be based in The Hague, the Netherlands for an initial contract of 3 months.
In this role as a Senior Project Manager you will perform the following services:
- Coordinating the execution of the projects in accordance with the client's project governance standards and project management methodology (adapted from Prince 2);
- Ensuring that all relevant project management documentation, including a realistic plan agreed among all stake holders, is in place at any given time. This includes participating directly in the production of project management deliverables;
- Coordinating the production and approval of project deliverables, at the specified quality level and in accordance with the project implementation plan;
- Ensuring the project implementation in accordance with the scope specified in the project implementation documentation;
- Keep overview and control of the budget available to the project and undertake the necessary financial procedures, including reporting;
- Coordinating the different project work streams and manage dependencies
- Supervising the delivery of products and services by external suppliers in accordance with the contracts in place, also addressing and resolving issues and risks related to the relationship with those suppliers.
Required skills
- Minimum of 4 years experience with structured project management methodologies in projects that include both custom and COTS scenarios
- Minimum of 3 years experience in dealing with multiple sourcing models including externalized software development and internal testing and quality assurance
- Training on project management methodologies (eg Prince 2);
- Experience on projects relating to Enterprise Content Management systems in an EU government environment (pre)
- Experience on projects relating to ICT network security implementation in an EU government environment
- Experience in working within regulated EU public/government environment
