Highly reputable and market leading Investment bank is seeking an experienced Senior Production Support Specialist Finance IT team.
Key Responsibilities of a Senior Production Support Specialist:
- Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support for applications within middle and back office
- Supporting applications and be technically competent in SQL Server, Oracle, Unix.
- Execute SLA based procedures for a 24/6 production cycle
- Document Support Processes
Experience of a Senior Production Support Specialist:
- In depth technical experience
- Understanding of the technical architecture of applications
- Query Optimisation
- Performance tuning
- Complex troubleshooting of production issues (App Logs, System files, Queries, Performance issues, Reports, manipulations)
- Strong scripting experience: eg PL SQL, Bash, Perl
- Application monitoring experience
- Release, Change, Problem, Incident Management experience - ITIL
