We are working with a highly sought Gvernment organisation to source a Network Communications Developer.

This is a contract role from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015.

DUTIES:

  • The design, development and installation of systems using the following technologies:
  • Cisco network infrastructure, LAN/WAN routing and switching;
  • Cisco Unified Communications such as VoIP, Voicemail and Video Teleconferencing;
  • WAN bandwidth optimisation and QoS.
  • Network security technologies such as Firewalls, intrusion prevention and network access control;
  • Encryption technologies using commercial and government grade equipment
  • Telecommunications services, such as Frame Relay, ATM, IP, ISDN and Dark Fibre;
  • Network monitoring and management tools for use in availability and capacity planning roles.

SKILLS:

  • Cisco network infrastructure for LAN/WAN routing and switching;
  • Cisco Unified Communications for VoIP, Voicemail and Video Teleconferencing;
  • Riverbed WAN optimisation and Cisco QoS;
  • Network security technologies such as Firewalls, intrusion prevention and network access control;
  • Encryption technologies using commercial and government grade equipment;
  • Telecommunications services, such as Frame Relay, ATM, IP, ISDN and Dark Fibre;
  • Network monitoring and management tools for use in availability and capacity planning roles.
