Description
We are working with a highly sought Gvernment organisation to source a Network Communications Developer.
This is a contract role from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015.
DUTIES:
- The design, development and installation of systems using the following technologies:
- Cisco network infrastructure, LAN/WAN routing and switching;
- Cisco Unified Communications such as VoIP, Voicemail and Video Teleconferencing;
- WAN bandwidth optimisation and QoS.
- Network security technologies such as Firewalls, intrusion prevention and network access control;
- Encryption technologies using commercial and government grade equipment
- Telecommunications services, such as Frame Relay, ATM, IP, ISDN and Dark Fibre;
- Network monitoring and management tools for use in availability and capacity planning roles.
SKILLS:
- Cisco network infrastructure for LAN/WAN routing and switching;
- Cisco Unified Communications for VoIP, Voicemail and Video Teleconferencing;
- Riverbed WAN optimisation and Cisco QoS;
- Network security technologies such as Firewalls, intrusion prevention and network access control;
- Encryption technologies using commercial and government grade equipment;
- Telecommunications services, such as Frame Relay, ATM, IP, ISDN and Dark Fibre;
- Network monitoring and management tools for use in availability and capacity planning roles.
