Description
We are working with a highly sought government organisation to source a Systems Infrastructure Developer.
This is a contract role from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015.
DUTIES:
- Core infrastructure that supports Domino/Notes, WebSphere, Java applications, and Enterprise applications such as Oracle, Fast, Cognos, etc.;
- Server/desktops/laptop SOEs that support the following systems: Main office system, domestic office system, overseas office system,mobile & remote access systems and Access control in Active Directory, Group Policies, Sanctuary, etc.;
- Security management;
- Gateways, diodes and interfaces;
- SAN storage and virtual tape libraries
- System virtualisation (HP, VMWare, Citrix);
- Systems monitoring and capacity management;
- System backups and contingency arrangements.
SKILLS:
Extensive knowledge of systems infrastructure development using:
- HP server, desktop, laptop and storage equipment;
- Microsoft Windows and Redhat Linux;
- System virtualisation (HP, VMWare, Citrix);
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Group Policies, Sanctuary, etc.;
- Security management using various products;
- Gateways, diodes and interfaces;
- SAN storage and virtual tape libraries;
- Systems monitoring and capacity management;
- System backups and contingency arrangements.
