A Hedge Fund in Chicago is seeking a highly motivated Java Developer and lover of technology to work with an Agile development team to develop new investment management applications. The team is looking for a Senior Developer who can introduce the team to new technologies and ideas, but also someone who wants to learn. The small, yet collaborative IT team is a pure Java shop, but looking to incorporate new languages like Scala. Polyglot developers- please apply!Required skills:
- Core Java
- SQL Skills
- Data Modeling
- Experience with modern framework (Extjs, Angularjs, jQuery, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with Cucumber or other acceptance test automation framework, a plus
- Scala experience a plus
