Support Video On Demand services and related devices within a group that operates . Serve as a specialist for installation activities, participate in supporting SLA adherence for various products. Independently collect information, correlate data, and troubleshoot complex customer problems to closure. Develop and run tests to uncover field problems, detailed documentation of defects, new product deployment, review of cases for trend analysis, learning new technologies through formal training or independent research, leading conference calls, and writing technical documentation.

SKILLS:

  • Ideal candidate has background in Video On Demand system operations and troubleshooting.
  • Strong operational familiarity with IP, RF, QAM, LAN and WAN (IPv4 and IPv6) networking.
  • H.264, MPEG4, MPEG2 transport stream, video transport & streaming, content management, MySQL familiarity a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter and have ability to communicate, share, and interact with a group of 5+.
  • Experience with case management phone support or call center operations helpful.
  • Minimum experience: 5+ years.
  • Individual must have degree or equivalent experience in cloud video/network related discipline is acceptable. CCNA certification (and min 3+ years WAN network experience) would also be considered.
