Project Manager - Applications/Infrastructure - Brussels (Ref: SE/LL/Brussels/19663)
Duration: 6 months+
Global investment client is seeking an experienced IT Applications Project Manager to join their IT Infrastructure & Production Operations team.
The successful candidate will require good knowledge of the following areas:
- Security, FW, network, middlewares (WebSphere), RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase), OS (Windows, Solaris, Linux
- Good knowledge of IT solutions in a financial, banking or investment management domain.
- Good knowledge of Clarity & OWB, Office suite.
- Excellent oral and written technical communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to work with multiple projects, technologies and teams
- Acute attention to detail and reliable problem-solving ability.
- Languages: good command of French and English, Dutch is a plus
Working with 50 IT subject matter experts, the application project manager will be responsible for:
- Acting as a deputy of the Head of Infrastructure & Operations, the first role being the support of the production
- Management of infrastructure projects
- Management of business application projects from an infrastructure perspective (resources)
- Management of business applications hosting (Asset Management industry).
- Architecture & security review/ validation.
- Budget control.
