Contract Principal Hardware Engineer - Digital - USB - RF - Cambridge, RF, Hardware Design, Digital, USB, Ethernet, ATE, Test, Silicon, IC, Semiconductor.Based in Cambridge, our client is currently searching for a lead Hardware Engineer to help design, develop and test a new range of consumer electronics devices that are due for completion at the end of the year. The role will require a good background in hardware design, experience in digital design, understanding of RF principles, baseband design, interfacing - USB, Ethernet as well as ATE, ideally some experience of ICs or silicon technology.
Key requirements:
Degree qualified to a level of minimum 2:1 classification in Electronic Engineering or equivalent training and experience
Development of hardware test plans and specifications and report methods.
Development of digital baseband circuitry within integrated radio products.
Minimum 10 years post-graduate relevant circuit design development and evaluation.
Experience of high volume low cost development processes.
Familiarity with integrated circuit device test and verification.
Working as part of team. Min 10 Years.
