I am currently working with a market leading provider of engineering services to the Power, Refining, Chemical, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing and Infrastructures Sectors.I currently have a requirement for an estimating engineer on a temp to perm basis. Contract phase will be for around 12 months - end salary and contract rate are negotiable dependant on experience.

Demonstrate proven experience in the cost estimating of pressure retaining process equipment for the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries in stainless, carbon and Nickel alloy steels.
Have a good understanding of material grades, specifications, and national codes used within the above industries.
Show ability in the use of word, excel, powerpoint etc software.
Duties
- Compile labour and material cost estimates using both software and manual based in house systems.
- Ensure compliance with both the customer specifications and national code requirements.
- Liase with production facilities and clients to compile acceptable deliveries.
- Preparation of all tender documentation ensuring timely delivery to clients.
- Preparation of and reply to client technical and commercial clarifications.
- Support as required in the negotiation of contracts.
- Site visits as requested to evaluate client requirements.
- Provide input as required into the developing of working methods and systems.
- Ensure all company procedures and guidelines are adhered to.
