A Web Developer (SC Cleared) is required for a 6 month contract role based on a client site in Exeter to start ASAP.

Essential skills/experience required:
Current SC clearance
A degree in computer science, computing or other numerate subject, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience of working with any of the following technologies:
JavaScript, Dojo (or similar frameworks), HTML, CSS3.
Ability to grasp fresh concepts and implement efficient, effective solutions in a timely manner.
Enthusiasm for and understanding of how to provide a professional, high-quality service and work to demanding deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively within the immediate team to progress work and deliver results.
Understanding of software development and an enthusiasm for working in the IT arena;

Desirable skills would be any experience of delivering Rich Internet Application (RIA) solutions o experience with agile development processes.

Role:
Provide designs for software modules, applications or components to clarify, and provide estimates for, development activity needed to meet stated requirements.
Develop and test software modules to ensure they meet stated requirements and are fit for introduction into operational use as part of a properly engineered information system.
Document developed and tested software to ensure that it can be used, supported and maintained throughout its operational lifetime.
Support operational software and applications by investigating and resolving reported problems so that customer requirements continue to be met throughout the operational lifetime.
