Real Staffing are looking for an interim Head of Income to support an NHS Acute Trust in London whilst it undergoes a restructure of its finance department.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong NHS background across income accounting, contract/SLA monitoring and costing. It is important that you have previously operated in a similar capacity within a challenging hospital at an appropriate band level.
Key Objectives
- Monthly financial reports and presentations to the board of directors
- Advising on the financial impacts of PbR policies
- Act as the finance lead for the trust's costing, pricing and benchmarking initiatives
- Supporting the trust's financial planning
- Assisting with the development and implementation of SLR/PLICS
- Meeting with budget holders to review financial performance
- Provide financial models of the impacts of PbR on the Trust's income stream
- Supporting the submission of the trusts annual reference costs
Essential Skills
- Operated at Band 8a/b with an NHS provider trust
- Up-to-date knowledge of PbR policies
- Senior NHS income accounting experience
- Good technical (Excel, Access) and interpersonal skills
