Position Description:
Senior Mobile Web Developer is focused on writing templates, scripts and other processes that produce content for mobile web sites, as well as syndication for these sites. Must have a solid knowledge of the various web technologies used to produce content, and leverage this knowledge to ensure that code is written according to industry best practices. Senior Mobile Web Developers have specific technical expertise and exceptional personal initiative that they regularly share with the group. Senior Mobile Web Developer will assist in leading the development of standards and giving direction to Web Development and Operations. Works as project team members to develop & enhance Mobile Internet sites, as well as syndication feeds. Web development tasks include coding, testing, debugging, documenting, peer-reviewing, deploying, monitoring, and support. All tasks are performed in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards. Senior Mobile Web Developer should participate in workflow design and analyze existing production and implementation processes in order to ensure the overall quality of the sites. Works with internal departments to provide associated deliverables required for the successful completion of development and maintenance assignments (eg business development, database development, web designers, end-user training). Maintenance and support of existing templates and content production processes - this assures that our processes are functioning correctly. Spends time learning new skills and enhancing existing ones. Contributes to task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities. Work with brands to gather requirements for design, development & implementation of new & existing mobile sites on mobile platforms.

Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience desired.
At least 5-7 years of previous experience mobile applications and mobile web sites for iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, Symbian or Windows Mobile is required
Expertise in building advanced web-based GUIs, in collaboration with usability engineers, information architects, and product managers is required.
Experience working on and supporting a large-scale consumer facing web site is a plus. Candidates who provide samples of work, showing user-centered design thinking, will be preferred.

Required Skills:
HTML5, HTML, D-HTML (DOM manipulation, including performance tuning for the same). WYSIWYG editors are not used hands on experience with hand-coding web pages
Advanced JavaScript, AJAX using XML and JSON, CSS3, CSS, XML, XSLT, XPath
A good understanding of different mobile browsers
Experience with at least one mobile-web-app framework (such as JQuery Mobile, SenchaTouch, PhoneGap, Appcelerator etc)
Java, JSP
Strong foundation in enterprise level HTTP, Internet Protocol and related standards Create and edit Microsoft Office suite files - technical and functional/process documentation, presentations
Create and edit design and workflow diagrams in Visio or other UML tools Preferred Skills:
Ability to use media queries, and create animations using CSS3 transformations
Native application experience on mobile platforms (iOS, Android, BlackBerry)
JSTL, JSF and advanced Java server technologies
XQuery
Experience with writing and using web services (REST, SOAP), UNIX Shell Scripting Knowledge of any Service Delivery platform/software, particularly MSDP (Mobile Service Delivery Platform) by Ericsson
Basic knowledge of UML
Create and edit images and other media assets using Adobe or other toolsets
