Global Distribution Systems Manager - £80-100k - HantsJOB TITLE: Manager, Global Distribution Systems

Computer Futures are working with a key client to seek a Global Distribution Systems Manager based in Hampshire. The Manager of Distribution Systems will be responsible for the global inventory and warehouse management systems, warehouse control and automated systems, and the local inventory management systems. This individual will manage and directly participate in the current upgrade project and global Oracle EBS implementation of inventory Management and Warehouse Management. This individual will have excellent communication skills, strong problem solving abilities, and substantial prior experience managing and executing large and smaller scale warehouse management systems projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 15 individuals in support of our global inventory and warehouse management applications
- Lead and coordinate the client's global upgrade project for the three Tier 1 distribution centres.
- In partnership and coordination with the broader Oracle ERP initiative, lead the implementation of Oracle IM and WM for company run and 3PL warehouse operations.
- Define the 7/24 support model for all warehouse systems within the broader Information Services team and partners.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year overall strategy and roadmap for the evolution of warehouse systems and automation, including planned upgrades, interdependencies, and vendor contacts..
- Partner with the Global Operations Management team and VP's of Distribution to maintain a line of sight to business initiatives requiring strategic systems planning.
- Support the growth of the company by participating in the planning, build out, and implementation of new warehouse systems globally.
The candidate must have the following:
- Prior experience managing large/complex global projects and teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong man management experience with ability to develop a high performing team.
- Excellent project management methodology skills.
- Excellent time management.
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment. .
- Ability to suggest appropriate solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
This position is paying between £80,000 - £100,000 and comes with an excellent benefits package.
