My client is the leading provider of cloud-based e-Commerce, Online Store Audit and Data Quality solutions. Their solutions are focused on enabling CPG companies to grow their sales, protect their brands and improve operational effectiveness in a rapidly changing marketplace. They are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their expanding team.
Since being founded in 2007, my client has continued to grow by leading their industry and are currently working from their City Centre based office in Dublin 2, allowing for fantastic views of Dublin. You will get to work on fascinating projects, some of which are outlined below.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Take responsibility for developing new components
- Participate in the design of our new software platform
- Implement, test, and bug-fix functionality
- Produce reasonable estimates for tasks and meeting project schedules
- Suggest enhancements to existing components that contributes to product goals
- Deploy and provide support to the latest releases of software
Projects:
- E-commerce intelligence software to produce detailed analytics for consumers of key success indicators
- SaaS data quality solutions to monitor and validate data to insure consumer information is fit for purpose
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
- Third level degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent
- Experience working in a Linux environment
Required Skills:
- Highly Proficient in Java
- Knowledge of Spring framework
- Knowledge of MySQL or other relational database
- Knowledge of Unit Testing / Test Automation
Advantageous but not expected:
- Database development - SQL, JDBC
- Experience manipulating large volumes of data
- Web Development including Javascript
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies would be beneficial
- Knowledge of REST technology
Salary + Benefits:
- Salary: 50 -70k
- Performance-related bonus of up to 10% of base salary
