Support/Developer (Java)Our client in Jersey City, NJ is looking for a Support Engineer with experience in Java Development. The role will be a hybrid of Support and Developing. Salary is 70-85K. H1B visas can be transferred if there is at least 3 years still valid.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle Support responsibilities such as troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Java programming on certain days
- Quickly report any issues that cannot be handled through Level 1&2
Requirements
- Exceptional Java programming abilities
- Work experience with IBM MQ and JMS
- Willingness to excel in a Support position
- Work experience with Shell scripting
- Knowledge of Back Office procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
