Senior Low Level Java Developer/Architect - Chance to learn ScalaFor a senior Java developer a great role has come live working on a system built to monitor and analyze trades in real time. In order to achieve this they are currently in the process of building an in-memory database. They are looking for a strong low level Java developers who have itnerest in systems architecture.
The role also involves use of Scala although previous knowledge of the language is not a must have skill. They are very open to putting you through training courses on Scala to help increase or grow your knowledge in this area.
Additionally the role is essentially working as the 2nd in line to the current Head of Technology provides exposure to system architecture.
Ideal Candidate;
- Strong Java Development Experience
- Experience with low level programming, multithreading
- Previous work on low latency or real time systems is desirable
- Any exposure to Scala is a bonus
