Certes have been instructed to recruit a SharePoint Support Officer to join our client based in Manchester on a 3 month contract. The role will be paying the market rate.
A SharePoint Support Officer is required to join our client's SharePoint team with the responsibility of providing users of varying technical expertise with SharePoint support during a document management system migration.
The SharePoint Support Officer will be required to:
*Identify and resolve issues in accordance with agreed procedures
*To work with project managers and business users to embed current SharePoint-based business applications into the organisation.
*To join an existing project team to deliver and support business focused SharePoint solutions.
*To act as a 'Power User' around the organisation, offering advice on how to structure SharePoint team sites, organise content and exploit SharePoint features such as Site Columns, Metadata and Document Sets.
*To offer advice and support to Site Owners on how to organise and manage their SharePoint sites, and how to manage user permissions.
*To gather feedback from users on how they are using SharePoint, and to be involved in planning future usage of the platform.
*To be involved in planning and delivering workshops around the organisation to support and gain feedback from users at all levels around the organisation, including administrative and academic staff.
*To keep abreast of current developments on the SharePoint platform, including an awareness of SharePoint 2013 features.
*Support solutions that integrate with existing IT systems
*To perform information analyst tasks where required, including designing and structuring information within SharePoint sites.
