I am currently recruiting for a 6 month Java Development contract role in Belgium.
Functional Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of Java based web application software. Focus will be on GUI development which is currently implemented using the Vaadin Framework.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills in English
- 5+ years Commercial SW development experience
- 5+ years development utilizing EJB and Struts
- Experience developing web pages utilizing JavaServerPages (JSP), JavaScript, AJAX, HTML/HTML5
- Experience with SOAP and REST Webservices
- Experience developing entire stack of J2EE technologies (DB, middle-tier, Front End)
- Experience with ORM (object relational mapping) technologies
- Some experience with SQL and JBoss
Additional Qualifications

- Experience with Vaadin a huge plus
- Experience with iBatis and Oracle database server
- Experience with Linux and development on a Unix based system
- Experience with Eclipse IDE
- Experience with Ant and Maven build Scripting languages
- Experience with C/C++/Perl
- Security and Compliance domain knowledge
- Network Vulnerability Scanning domain knowledge
