Description
As a Senior Business Analyst you will analyze business systems and/or processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address operations/process issues/improvements to accomplish business objectives. You should have a thorough understanding of the business, industry, and/or product, be familiar with the systems used, and be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and implementing improvements to business systems and processes.Responsibilities:
- Establish, manage, and own end to end project plan small development projects including; Project Planning/Tracking; Status Reporting; Issue Management/Escalation/Resolution; Change Control; Quality Control; Risk Management; Financial Management; and Resource Management.
- Participate in the creation or management of the following applicable Project Life Cycle deliverables:
- Project Charter (Project Planning & Initiation-PPI).
- Business Requirements Document (BRD/ARL).
- Service Model.
- Business Case, including Cost Benefit Analysis (if applicable).
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Rollout Procedures (Transition/TRA).
- Participate in the review of:
- Systems Prospectus (Systems Requirements Analysis-SRA).
- Systems Delivery Spec (SDS).
- User Procedure Documents (UPD).
- Training Documents.
- Perform feasibility and cost/benefits analysis.
- Identify and recommends product enhancements and best practices in applicable product category in collaboration with the Product Manager.
- Create current and future state process flows, performs gap analysis, and documents recommended solutions.
Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address operation/process issues/improvements to accomplish business objectives.
- Strong experience with Agile Methodology including Use Cases and User Stories.
- Demonstrated strength in requirements analysis and use case development; experience with large-scale systems development.
- Strong experience as a liaison between the Business Stakeholders and the IT group.
- Strong knowledge of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) Methodology.
- Understanding of analysis and project life cycle methodologies (data flow diagrams, case tool analysis, work & process flow diagrams, FSDM, RAD).
- Working knowledge of business process to be able to effectively drive solutions as experienced in large corporate environments.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Advanced degrees in Math, Statistics or Engineering would be very helpful.
