Description
A Glasgow based client is currently on the market for a contract iOS developer to join their team to work on a mobile worker application to be used by their staff in the field.The forms will be used on an iPad and will store the information locally on a SQLite database until back online.
They are looking for someone with a great deal of experience working with iOS platform development patterns, frameworks, and APIs.
- 2+ years experience in mobile application development.
- Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complex problem solving.
- Strong proficiency in Objective C and C# development
- Experience of working with SQL Server (the client use 2000 & 2008 but will soon be upgrading to 2012)
- Experience in efficiently consuming web services APIs using SOAP, XML, and JSON.
The client and interview later this week and are ideally looking for somebody to start on Monday 7th April (though can be flexible for the right candidate).
The client will be paying £330-£360/day for the duration of the initial 3 month contract.
