My client, a market leading Retail organisation is looking for a Procurement specialist to join their team on 6 month rolling contract.Rate: £250 - £350 per day

THE ROLE:
The Roleholder will be involved in specialist Procurement activities in a specific category across the Group. The role will allow a specialist commercial focus to be applied to the largest categories of expenditure with the company's third party suppliers. By aggregating and co-ordinating expenditure across the Group, working closely with senior business users, and negotiating innovative and aggressive commercial terms at a global level, the role will consistently deliver value to the business.
The job holder will act as the ultimate subject matter expert and strategy owner for Procurement activities related to the specific Category and will ensure alignment of plans across the various commodities within the Category. The job holder will also be responsible for ensuring the assigned savings target for the group is achieved.
