Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager
Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager who is able to engage at Director Level to help us to understand needs and to gain support for the programmes of work within our Capacity and Performance Strategic Theme. Ideally the candidate should have existing relationships in one or more of the communities listed and a strong network:
The strategic theme contains 4 programmes:
*Industry access planning, aims to provide the tools and methodology to deliver a balance between running services customers want in an efficient manner, and running the network.
*Performance planning reform, will allow us to better understand the causes of delays on the network. We will use data to give us a more precise measurement of planning rules. We will also utilise all data sources to give ourselves the best information to create timetables and engage with stakeholders across the industry. Together with our customers we will understand the root causes of detriment in the public performance measure (PPM) and put shares strategies in place to drive delivery of our performance targets.
*Decision support framework, will help us to better understand the resilience of the network and make decisions using the best tools and methods we have.
*Capacity planning improvements, will equip our people with the right capabilities to support the decisions we need to make. We will continue to instil a culture of eliminating waste. We will make best use of technology to allow our people to do what they do best - plan the timetable to deliver a better railway for a better Britain.
The initial focus for the successful candidate will be the Performance Planning Reform Programme.
The Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager will have excellent communication skills, be able to influence at Director Level and have experience of working in large, complex environments
