Our client in Atlanta, GA is looking for a Senior SQL Developer for an exciting opportunity. Our client is seeking someone who will be responsible for completing SQL Server migration tasks as well as provide technical support, consultation and oversight for all SQL Server systems related to productive applications. Senior SQL Developer will be responsible for:
Migrate DTS packages to SSIS
Document existing, new and future ETL packages and processes
Technical project support for IT Projects and applications
Batch file (.bat) debugging
Design, build, maintain and monitor ETL and FTP processes
Monitor, maintain and develop key data feeds with PCNA, Vendors and Porsche affiliates
Complete ad-hoc reporting, data upload and data migration requests for business departments and IT
Assists in database design, programming, troubleshooting and management of problems affecting IT and enterprise database applications, as well as developing the area for future expansion
Test system enhancements to ensure business requirements are met
Perform and track all Data Adjustment Requests while ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
24x7 production SQL Server support
Maintains customer focus; increase IT customer satisfaction with business users
Senior SQL Developer should have the following requirement:
Education: College degree in Computer Technology, MIS, or Computer Science; or the equivalent education or experience. Master's degree is highly desired
7+ years of Database Administration experience
5+ years MS SQLServer (including v. 2008 R2)
3+ years with T-SQL
4+ years with SSIS
3+ years with DTS
Systems life cycle experience with analysis, design, and development knowledge
Experience with MicroStrategy (or similar BI Client Server application)
Skills:
Expertise in SSIS
Expertise in VBA and T-SQL
Expertise with Microsoft Access
Expertise in .bat file Scripting
Working knowledge of DTS
AS400 or DB400/DB2 experience a plus
Familiarity with FTP, SFTP and PGP encryption a plus
