Description
A trading desk in Chicago is seeking a front-end Senior Software Developer to lead the development of cutting edge trading applications. The Senior Software Developer will work directly alongside the teams Traders, Risk Analysts and Quantitative Analysts on the firms trading software. This mission critical application will be developed in C# and WPF. Interested developers must have significant experience in developing GUIs.As this is a senior position, possible compensation for the role is between $150,000 and $170,000 Base with a 20% Bonus and $15,000 in equity (paid every year.)
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Development of a mission critical trading system written in C#
- Work directly with Quantitative Analyst and Traders in the development of algorithms
- Respond to Traders requests in a quick and timely manor within a fast-pased environment
- Train and oversee junior developers as they enter the team
Qualifications call for:
- 5+ years of C# Development Experience
- 3+ years of developing GUI using WPF or Winforms
- 3+ years of experience in a Trading Environment
- Understanding of SDLC
- Strong understanding of Risk
