Description
Responsibilities:-Design/implement/test features on embedded Linux platforms in C/C++ on ARM and MIPS.
-Development experience on Embedded Linux and Firmware development on SoC's
-Experience in Network Driver is highly desirable
-Duties include designing application, writing code, completing programming, developing and executing testing and debugging routines, and documenting work and results.
-Define and implement software features for VOIP, Automotive and Industrial networking products
-Work with Software, Hardware, Architecture and Design teams to define requirements and architecture for future generations of switch systems.
-Support customers to help identify and architect solutions
-Design, implementation and sustaining Development Kit and SOC Software,
-Design, develop, test and support of Ethernet Switch Driver components
Desired Skills and Experience:
-A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Electronics degree strongly preferred.
- Uboot, Embedded Linux and Device driver Development Experience.
- Knowledge of industry standard interfaces and protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet,
-C Programming Experience with Linux and POSIX APIs
-Troubleshooting using Wireshark, gdb is required
-Experience using real-time operating systems.
- Experience using embedded SW development tools like JTAG.
- Experience with Device Driver NIC test tools such as SmartBits, IXIA, etc.
- Kernel development experience preferred.
-VOIP, DSP, Wireless and Video Product development will be Plus.
-Development of firmware on VoIP and Wireless SOCs/Chips will be desirable, but not a must
-Background of developing firmware for chips used in Camera (systems) will also be goodDesired Skills and Experience
