Description
As a successful and collaborative Project Manager, you will join a team of highly accomplished professionals within an extensive portfolio of SAP and systems related projects. You will play an essential role in a relatively new initiative to create dynamic services and systems in the areas of operational finance, procurement, logistics, asset management, payroll and corporate reporting.
Reporting to the Portfolio Director, your key responsibilities will be:
- Advising and oversee the successful delivery of specific CSP initiatives, as determined by the Portfolio Director
- Providing guidance on and tailoring the approach and methodology for completing specific SAP projects successfully
- Ensuring projects are managed in accordance with best practice guidelines and project management methodologies
- Developing and reviewing project plans, schedules, resourcing and methodologies
- Monitoring and reporting on project plans and budgets to ensuresuccessful delivery
- Ensuring that project activities integrate with the organisation's overall strategic direction
- Consultingwith all internal and external stakeholders to ensure support and success for the project
- Managing project resources, expenses and capital costs against the project forecasts.
- Promoting and ensuring the use of appropriate project management (PRINCE2) and project implementation techniques, methodologies and tools, including risk and issue management.
- Producing the relevant deliverables in accordance with the prescribed methodology, standards and templates, and arrange review and sign off as required.
As the successful Project Manager, you will demonstrate:
A minimum of 5 years experience managing successful SAP implementations within a large, complex and geographically dispersed business environment.
Demonstrated experience in managing projects that incorporate the following:
- SAP ERP modules, specifically FICO, MM, SD, PM, PS, RE-FX, BW and their inter-dependencies
- SAP Process Integration (PI) and BW, Adobe forms, Document Management System (DMS) and their connectivity
- Technical integration between SAP and non-SAP external systems/environments
Experience in planning and managing the full SAP project life cycle (at least 2 full implementations), including initiation and establishment of project governance, solution design, build, test, deployment and vendor management
Extensive knowledge of project management principles and supporting methodologies. Demonstrated experience using Prince2 and SAP Project Management Methodologies.
Knowledge of solution architecture principles, practices and processes and their application in an SAP environment.
